A small, directly-employed Stirling team with forty years of combined trade experience on Scottish stone homes. Slate, lead, tile, flat and exterior work, quoted in writing, with written workmanship guarantees available on qualifying work.
Roofing is the backbone of the business, but we also handle the exterior work that protects it. One main point of contact, one invoice, and written workmanship cover for qualifying work.

Why Choose Prestige Roofers
Four reasons homeowners across Stirlingshire come back, and recommend us.
Local, not a franchise
We're based in Stirling and on a roof somewhere in FK7–FK9 most weeks. The crew you meet on survey is the crew that does the work.
Written, fixed-price quotes
Every job comes with a detailed line-item quote, usually within 2 working days of survey. The quoted price covers the agreed scope; any changes are quoted and approved before proceeding.
Right materials, properly fitted
Spanish, Welsh and reclaimed Scotch slate; Code 4 and Code 5 lead; stainless fixings on coastal jobs. Specified for Scotland, not for a catalogue.
Guaranteed in writing
Ten years on a re-roof, fifteen on felt, twenty-five on slate, backed by £5m public liability and a paper trail that comes with you when you sell.
Built for Scottish weather
Central Scotland sees more freeze-thaw cycles than almost anywhere else in the UK. Water gets into a hairline crack in November, freezes in January, and prises a slate loose by March. The wrong fixings, the wrong lap, the wrong lead, and you find out two winters later.
We spec everything for the prevailing south-westerlies that funnel up the Forth Valley, stainless on coastal jobs, Code 5 on exposed valleys, and an extra slate head-lap on anything above 250m elevation.

Honest answer: any number we put in writing here would be misleading. An online quote calculator might give you a ballpark for a typical three-bed semi, but the real figure moves with access, scaffolding, sarking condition, the slate or tile specified, and the company doing the work. Bigger national outfits carry serious overhead and price for it; a small directly-employed local team like ours can usually be more competitive without being too small for the job. We give a written quote, usually within 2 working days of a free survey — that’s the figure that actually matters.
In most cases, no, like-for-like replacement is permitted development. Conservation areas (Stirling Old Town, Bridge of Allan, Dunblane Cathedral, Linlithgow), listed buildings and any change of materials usually require consent. We’ll tell you what’s needed before any work is booked.
A standard semi takes 5–9 working days once the scaffold is up, weather depending. Larger Victorian villas with leadwork and chimneys can run 2–3 weeks. We give a programme date, not a vague ‘a couple of weeks’.
Both quotes and surveys are free across our service area. We don’t charge call-out fees. Any additional work beyond the agreed scope is discussed and approved before charges are added.
Stirlingshire, Clackmannanshire, Falkirk, West Lothian, and into Edinburgh, Glasgow, Fife and Perth & Kinross for larger jobs. We have a 100-strong list of towns we cover; if you’re inside ~30 miles of Stirling, we’re local.
Yes. £5m public liability, all crew CSCS-carded and directly employed (no subcontract labour). Workmanship is covered by written guarantees on qualifying work — typically 10 years on a re-roof, 15 on felt, 25 on natural slate — subject to our terms. Workmanship cover is separate from any manufacturer product warranty.
